today, something happened in school. it was jiao's birthday(bird day). had to delay him from going fc 3. then a group of us 6 walked to fc 3. us equals to me, bird, kai sheng (hepta-pointer), wee chuan, sing long and wang shuo. it takes 5 people to delay a bird for around 10 mins. in total got 10 ppl excluding the jiao. dun feel a need to list them all. u know urselves. found the girls and jacob. they had already prepared the bird day cake. how thoughtful of them. anyway, we lit the candles, and the girs went mad and dunno do wat to the birthday song. the auntie forgot to include 1 more candle, so bird is still 17 on his 18th bird day. lol. anyway, he tried to cut the cake but the plastic knife provided got stuck in the cake. almost as if the cake wanted the knife so badly. then change person. jacob became the cake cutter. cake was coffee? at least thats wat i think it is. used my hand to clear the last piece, got the nice coffee smell on my fingers now.
went to GEMS after bird day celebration. had to go NUS. crapped place. but taxi fare to NUS engineering faculty from SP is cheap. juz 4 bucks, split among 4 people. GEMS at NUS was boring. thought there would be like a rabbit undergoing operation for us to see, then in the end, its juz walking around the lab seeing slides and computer screens. boring stuff. 1 word of caution to those coming to SP. DUN TAKE TISSUE ENGINEERING FOR GEMS. u go there, every week lesson confirm wun release early, and there are damn little girls. lesser than my class!!! and there are tests. 3 good reasons not to go to that GEMS module. anyway, back to NUS. hate the journey back. no bus out to dover mrt, so we WALKED the whole way to the mrt station. can u imagine walking so damn freaking far? but things got better. the sky decided to take a piss. it rained quite abit. then went back to SP to do IDEAs. pity the bird day kid. his bird day, and he has to spend it on studies. sad day when these kind of crap happens. and yea. thats basically wat happened on my best poly friend's 18th bird day.
